Alexis "Lexie" Woodson has always had a passion for creating new and exciting projects for herself and other people as well. She began making jewelry in 2014, when her mother suggested that she should try jewelry designing. She started by making simple bracelets with beads. Instantly she was hooked and fell in love with all the different colors and types of beads and charms that she could find. Before she knew it, she had made a total of 50 different bracelets and each one had been personally named. Lexie was ecstatic about her new adventure and she wanted to expand her craft further than making beautiful bracelets. So in 2015, she experimented with some jewelry wire, a pair of wire cutters, and any old vintage items that she could find and VOILA, she made her very first necklace and choker. From that very first bracelet that she created in New York, Lexie has turned those unimaginable pieces into jewelry, that she calls "Repurposed," a line that is under her brand, CaviarBLU. Her eye for design, her conception of uniqueness, and her flare of innovation has helped her jewelry flourish not only into pieces of art, but wearable art. She continues to make her jewelry from any inspiration or vision that comes her way. Her jewelry has no boundaries and is unapologetic.
